Twista
Chicago rapper Twista made his recording debut on "Po Pimp," a platinum single by his fellow Windy City rappers Do or Die. Following "Po Pimp," Twista signed with Big Beat/Atlantic and released his debut, Adrenaline Rush, in the summer of 1997. Mobstability followed a year later, and in 1999 Twista returned with Legit Ballin'. In fall 2002, Twista hooked up with Ludacris, Jay-Z, Bone Thugs-N-Harmony and other rap moguls for the recording of his third album. Kamikaze came out at the beginning of 2004 and promptly hit the Billboard 200, riding the impetus of his #1 hit single "Slow Jamz." ~ Stephen Thomas Erlewine, All Music Guide

Tha Carter III is the sixth studio album by rapper Lil Wayne. Juelz Santana stated that they are finished working on the I Can't Feel My Face album. Wayne is still working on Currency's new album, Music to Fly to.[2]
Wayne has told XXL that the album's first single would be called "La La". This song leaked to the internet at the end of May 2007. The song, which consists of Wayne reminicing about growing up in New Orleans, begins with him saying "Carter III".
He also confirmed in XXL that producers would include Timbaland, The Runners, will.i.am, Kanye West, Scott Storch and (as recently confirmed by Scratch Magazine) Dr. Dre and former Cash Money producer Mannie Fresh. Collaborators are confirmed to include Twista, Junior Reid, and Sizzla. The Game, Jim Jones, Juelz Santana & Enrique Iglesias are rumored guests.
It was also named the "#1 most anticipated album of 2007".[3] As of April 2007, in an interview with MTV, Wayne said to expect the album at the end of the year, opting to devote the next months to mixtapes and collaborations with other artists. He also stated he will be working with former Cash Money Records producer, Mannie Fresh.[4] In an interview with hiphopcanada.com, Solitair of the Black Jays stated that he and Cipha Sounds produced a track for Wayne's "new project" (possibly referring to Tha Carter III).[5]
In the July/August issue of Scratch Magazine, Lil Wayne confirmed that Tha Carter III will "probably" not be released until 2008.
Scratch also confirmed that Wayne recorded a song using OutKast's "Jazzy Belle" beat with producer Jim Jonsin called "PMW".
